What's upstairs?

The Administration office and technical services. Technical Services are responsible for processing all the material made available to you.

How many movies can I take?

Patrons can have four (4) DVDs per household.

Can I use the phone?

The library does not have a public phone. We will refer you to a pay phone unless it is an emergency.

So where IS the nearest payhone then?

The nearest payphone is at Food City on Florence and Second Street.

Where is the library located?

The library's address is 449 N. Dry Lake St., Casa Grande, AZ 85222 We are located downtown behind Peart Park. If you are travelling west on Florence, make a left on Cameron and follow the signs. If you are going south on Pinal, make a left onto Florence and a right on Cameron, then follow the signs.

What are the library's hours?

The library is open seven days a week:

Monday through Thursday 9am to 7pm

Friday and Saturday 9am to 5pm

Sunday 1pm to 5pm

How do you get a library card?

Anyone residing in Pinal County can get a free library card. Just provide a photo id and proof of address. (usually a driver's license with address, or if it isn't updated, a photo id with a piece of mail or utility bill)

Do you have computers with internet access?

The library has 38 public access computers with internet access. Patrons can get one (1) hour per day, 30 minutes on Sundays. If you are working on a document, please bring a storage device. The library sells flash drives if you don't have one.

What do I need to do to use a computer with internet access?

You need a library card with a pin. The pin is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Do you have bathrooms?

Yes, a key is required for access. This is to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Do you have wi-fi access?

Yes we have wireless internet. It requires a library card and pin for access. If you are just passing through and do not reside in Pinal County, you can purchase a library card for $2 that will provide access.

Do you have a photocopier?

Yes we have a coin operated photocopier downstairs next to the Technology Learning Center.

Do you have a fax machine?

We do not have a public fax at this time. We will refer you to a local office services store.

Can you check out magazines?

Items from the general magazine collection cannot be checked out. However, items in the children's and Spanish section can.

Does the library have a notary service?

No, the library does not provide notary services. There are several places in town that can provide the service as well as any local bank.

Why are the book drops closed on holidays?

On a daily basis, the library return is so high it overflows the book drops. This requires the drop to be emptied three or four times a day. If we left the drops open on holidays, we would require a staff person to be here on holidays like Christmas.
